Hello Hello to my imaginary friends in my imaginary world!

I have Never paid full price for a pair of Miss Sixty jeans before. No, I retract that statement I have never paid for a pair misssixtyof Miss Sixty jeans PERIOD.  I don’t know if its my ass, or what but every time I would try them on, they were just not quite… Almost there, almost cute but never.. enough.

Anyhow, I came across this ad in Nylon while I was waiting for my car to get serviced across the street at the 7-eleven free mag surfing, peering up every forty seconds (I’m an anxious child)…(Crap, the nice old service man found my bottle of boos in the trunk too I could see his pause from across the street when he opened my trunk. I giggled inside ’cause it isn’t mine….) Anyway so I come across the Miss Sixty’s ad for these denim capri jeans and how they are bringing the favorites back or something…Er? whatever, all I know is I NEED a pair of these PRONTO! If any of you are addicted to clothes and funky junk as I am, you know what I’m talking about! When you can’t stop thinking about that damn thing you want, you daydream about it, you breath about it, you could swear you are in love with this item, until you get it in your hands and you can rip off the tag and then you OWN the bitch! well that’s how I feel about these jeans. It’s one of those I wouldn’t wait for to go on sale like (Miss Sixty’s are usually good for) even though I KNOW these won’t be flying off the shelves  too quick for a couple reasons: A) they aren’t the kind of jeans everyone’s gonna wanna wear B) they are 198 buck-a-roos oh and do I hear Target is the new black? I need them. sigh.  (I prefer these in classic blue denim)misssixty01

Shalom! Bienvenidos!

IT’S COMPARE & CONTRAST TIME!

FF LongPAnts FFdIn my Poppin’ My Blog Cherry post I delivered my newest inklings, one of which was the “Long Pants”

“The latter sketch: Idea behind this “Long Pants” one piece is EXAGGERATION. ACCENTUATION. FOCUS.

“Wearing Pants? Wear Pants. Who needs a top? It’s the Recession.”

The theme with the line if there was a line, would be focusing on articles of clothing, such as pants or a blouse or a Tee or a Hat, or Socks…whatever and exaggerating them to be wearable as a main piece.”

I came across Giles Deacon’s Giant scarf today, and I think it definitely ties to the theme in my inkling, although his line consists of the scarf alone, it embraces the idea of exaggerating, and accentuating giving focus to the scarf alone not as an accessory, but as the main focal point of an outfit. The way the model wears the giant scarf in the advertisement is so cute and precocious! I would not wear a top with the scarf either, I would LOVE to wear this to brunch!
